I liked Richard Simmons though he was funny, never was around any kids. He didn't take himself very seriously.

And he did not shove it down our throats that he was gay and we all had to accept it (if he even was, as I am not sure it was ever really a focus which further proves the point). He just was who he was, take it or leave it.
