Billionaire Elon Musk said on Monday he will launch an artificial intelligence (AI) platform that he calls "TruthGPT" to challenge the offerings from Microsoft and Google .

He was likely given a choice.

I don't think he's ever been a white hat, but I do believe he accepted q-team offer to switch sides, but that still doesn't Make him a good guy, he's just controlled by a white hat now.
