Question for Globohomo fags: Why is climate change bad?

Is it because it makes it harder to produce the food we need to feed rice to the billion people who need it?

Is it because cow farts make protein a bad deal vs the calories we can gain from farming?

What is the asset being protected? Is it human life, or the quality of Summer on Cape Cod?

WHY IS CLIMATE CHANGE BAD?

If it isn't easily demonstrated to be bad for humanity, then why are we pursuing policy to the end of "no climate change" at all? How do cow farts impact the total calories that can be produced to feed mankind?
