"Damn. My husband mentioned something about a cricket factory and how they're trying to get more people to be okay with eating crickets... Where exactly is he getting this information?? It must be the same online source as my husband." HOLY SHIT. It was on CBC, FFS! IMAGINE being this low-info!

I've been feeding my (elderly) cat raw food. There are a few companies selling freeze-dried raw food and she likes it.
I've also switched to organic kibble by the same company.
Her coat is shiny and sleek.
She was very sick about 18 months ago -- nearly died. After the vet did a great job of saving her, I started giving her regularly things I give myself, like colloidal silver in her double-filtered water.
From someone on this board I learned about the Zero Water filter. I pre-filter with a Britta (had a leftover multipack) and pour the Britta water into the Zero Water.
Love the Zero Water. Bought two.
Once in a while I put a few drops of Ormus in her water.
I feed my dog just regular cooked food. Meals are like chicken and peas/carrots, beef/rice/broccoli, ground turkey with sweet potatoes and oatmeal. On days I don't feel like cooking I do some of the fancier wet foods, cuz they have added vitamins and minerals. She is a lab/dachshund mix that is buff and strong as hell, one and a half with no issues. The only thing I'm conflicted on is it I should get her any of the recommended vaccinations.
Rabies vaccine, yes.
That’s great to hear. Feeding your animals, healthy food, helps him live longer.
My family in Hawaii, they had a cat that was 19 Yrs, and she was spry up until the day she died. They would feed her raw salmon, raw ground beef, and cooked chicken. The other cats downstairs get all kinds of supplements and specialty foods. It sure makes a big difference when you feed your animals healthy food.
I am a pet sitter, and I’m amazed by how many peoples animals are on medication’s. Some of the pets have to take insulin. It’s just crazy how much the pharmaceutical companies have seeped into animal care.
Anyway! Congratulations for doing a great job. I’m sure your animals appreciate it, and they will live long happy lives!
Some raw salmon can make dogs very ill because of a parasite. Just leaving this note in case your message inspires someone to give raw meat a try. We do raw meat for our dogs but never salmon.
Just to clarify, it was a cat that was getting that food. But thank you for the information
