That's funny since placating us by giving us an outlet for our stress where we can do heinous things to video game characters or live out our fantasies as a hero keeps us from coming after the people who make the rest of our lives so miserable.

But naturally, the decay wants to take every sanctuary from stress away from the population. They want us to be stressed, depressed and in discomfort in hopes that we die early or off ourselves.
