I know they're union. I think they're Teamsters. I don't see them getting fired in the traditional sense but Teamsters are good at negotiating them being able to collect unemployment while their official record says they quit voluntarily. Of course they will be trying to exhaust their accrued sick time, vacation time, PTO, and whatever else they can't be paid out for while the negotiations are taking place.
