An AI will aggregate data and consume it, and then act based upon parameters in its code, yes, but what happens when it uses all of the knowledge of the internet in seconds or minutes to rewrite its own code?
These are the problems we are looking at, by AI having the ability to do that

The power companies now want to computerized switch gear , in the past , a lineman was called to open or close the switch , now we have hackers that can destroy equipment and switch open or close when they want to cause havoc.
