One would think non-competes apply to someone resigning on their own. If fired, they cannot deny him a job in his field. But they are paying him for the next 3 years, so maybe thats an issue.....
But they would have know that before they fired him....Otherwise they could have put him on administrative leave or something....
but there is a reason that contracts are negotiated... and It seems that Tucker was making a lot of "rain" for Faux when faux was struggling....
This is what he does, who he is. Legally speaking, it implies that Fox would somehow own Tucker's mind, and to the best of my knowledge, slavery is not allowed.
Non-compete clauses are almost impossible to enforce. Tucker can show he did what he does, before he came to Fox, that he may have gained some presentation skills, but only Tucker owns Tucker.
Sundance at CTH says no but I find it hard to believe. Even without one Tuckers power was that he reached normie boomer and gen X types that get their news from the TV and that is now lost. OANN isnt on any cable or satellite provider I am aware of. I know of at least four people who will be watching Hannity and the dregs on Newsmax for their news now, blissfully unaware of the ops being used against them. I am certain though that all four will still vote Trump but there are many who will not.
Ive tried to get these four people to view alt media going so far as to provide lists and links and even loading the videos on their computer to watch. But they never do watch. They are stuck in the Reagan years tech wise.

While I agree and this could be a problem, he also has name recognition among these types and could be the catalyst that switches many of them over to alternative media sources, if he goes over to them. Once there, they'll stick around.
We're already seeing it. I know plenty of boomers that have started watching shit on Rumble. Especially with how prevalent these people are on Facebook where they just need a link to get started.
By the way, Fox's power isn't Fox News. It's their control over so many local stations. People don't realize that local stations are political, and they give them more trust, even subconsciously. But then they quickly mix in their syndicated bullshit and it instantly "normalizes" it all. Whereas they take national news with a grain of salt, they often take local news at face value.
I wonder if he had a non compete clause in his contract for a certain time period ?
not according to The Stickied Conservative tree house article
