50% of AI researchers believe there is a 10% or greater chance that humans will go extinct because of our inability to control AI.
...can track human beings in complete darkness, also through walls, and it's everywhere out in the world.
...you ask these AIs to do arithmetic and they can't do them, they can't do them, they can't do them, and at some point -- BOOM -- they just gain the ability...and no one can predict when that will happen.
...you only train them to answer questions in English...but then you increase the model size, you increase the model size, and at some point -- BOOM -- it starts being able to do questions & answers in Persian. No one knows why.
...there is no way to know -- we do not have the technology to know -- what else is in these models.
It gets even darker toward the end:
...here's a kid...telling the AI that they are being groomed, and the AI is just happily giving them advice on how to have their first time have candles.
Why is a kid telling an AI that it's being groomed instead of some human authority figure? Parents, police,...anyone?
This seems more indicative of the child overly depending on AI (or other online resources) due a lack of human care and attention rather than any fault in the AI itself.

One of the guys doing the presentation pretended to be a 13 year old when interacting with the AI in question.
