It's just woke companies shedding dead weight, frankly. I'm not seeing much here that says anything other that they're feeling the pressure of inflation after two years of trying to pretending everything is normal, so now they're starting to trim the fat. Look how many tech companies are there. They probably all look like Twitter's work force and would be more efficient if they cut 20%+ of their staff.
Revenue per employee number gets better because shit tier employees are gone revenue stays about the same.
Investors see this on fins and invest into the leaner version of the company justifying the layoffs in the end.
Laid off workers bitch everywhere, democrats promise free gibs, laid off shit heads vote dens.
Hardworking conservatives remain at lean company getting the shaft as always.

Yea, a bunch of "in house" barristas are getting axed. Oh, the horror as execs are going to have to brew coffee for themselves! They will also have to take their cloths to the drycleaners, themselves. Yep, a lot of corporate types will be pounding the pavement looking for new opportunities.......riigghhtt.
