All taxes except commercial taxes like import duty, sales tax etc.
Sales tax is also shit.
Even moreso if you have to pay additional costs for import.
In the absence of sales tax, I'd be willing to pay for import duties.
But as it stands, you are taxed on the item, the shipping method, and then in some jurisdictions/goods, import tariffs?
Dunno, fren. I'm really tired of the government sticking all ten fingers and toes into the pot.
State governments (and city) are trying to raise taxes on certain areas too, and using prior failures using taxpayer money to justify it.
In my area, you are responsible for everything your tax money should be paying for, meaning roads and sidewalks, trees that were planted decades before you lived there destroying them, etc. and you are also taxed on that because they consider it a purchase you are obligated to make on their behalf.
Governments are such a racket.
Ultimately I would love to see bulk of taxes on commerce go to the local governments, where you directly control what happens to that money. But, it will be a long time before people can regain the trust.
Sales tax is a voluntary tax as well... please see above post on property tax...
the Board of equalization has a form that you can get I forget the number but you give it to the stores to inform them you are not a corporation fiction not subject to sales tax.
Question, how can you lower your status by going into the military but receive a higher benefit of not paying sales tax then one of the sovereign people?
Think about this, in The United States Of America the people are sovereign we are the kings of our castle without subjects. Sovereignty resides with the people.

We only gave the legislatures the right to regulate commercial corporations, corporate fictions.

Paul had researched the sales tax issue and found the form for Nebraska, I researched his info and found it for California.

However it is his homepage link and he has gobs of free information on that link to the left. I am not promoting counseling, only the sale tax research issue which is free on that home page index.
He was a early researcher of state and federal separation of jurisdictions applications as well.
And I'm not affiliated in any way with this website or Mr Hansen except as stated I researched the sales tax issue in California using his free Nebraska outline from his site, he was also a guest on a conference call I was on years ago where I asked him a couple of questions.
