Crimes and Misdemeanors was a very admirable film. I'm surprised it came from the same person who victimized a child.
Because creative people, and so-called pillars of society that others idolize can do no wrong ?? This world is sick - not just the fake idols, but also those who idolize and give them power / a pass.
Because the film emphasized the soulessness of moral relativism.
IMO, his best film was Shadows and Fog. In some ways it explains what we are experiencing today.
Dylan Farrow appeared in that movie in one of the party scenes when she was at a pre-K age.
