This is what happens when you have rigged elections. I live in CA and all of the politicians currently in office are there because of voting fraud. They have literally turned this state into a third world country. Where can we go? I'm too old to move to another state and start over without any family or friends for a lifeline. It won't be just this state, but all the states if we don't get rid of the current system of voting.
I'm retirement age and I am moving out of Calif next year.
I don't care if I have to live much more frugally than I do now, I'm out.
It's pretty bad when you still have to stick to a very strict budget and watch your pennies while making well over 6 figures.
And no, I don't drive band new cars or waste money. The taxes and cost of living are absolutely insane in Calif. Especially after divorcing about 20 years ago.
I'll write a strongly worded letter to their HOA. kek
Still have to deal with water/electric/sewage issues, not going to be pretty.
I know a fella and his wife that are parked in their $500,000 fully self contained motorhome on an oceanfront lot along the highway in California. They are retired and love it there on their highway space! Their million dollar house in Minnesota is now their 2nd home while they get all the freebies from California taxpayers. Last I talked to them I laughed and laughed but he said 99% of the “residents” are good people who just can’t afford housing and the good paying jobs just isn’t enough pay for a small apartment and all the living expenses. To each their own 🤷♂️
Average home price is 1.4 million. That 3 million dollars ought to shave off a few feet of that 2 mile long encampment.
i'm sure the majority of that money ends up in some local politician's pocket
Given the increasing frequency and intensity of seismic activity along the NorCal coast, they are Tsunami bait.
Took a vacation to Maui awhile back , homeless everywhere , bums passed out in doorways of businesses in paia, literally had to step over them . Cars of the working poor every where on the beaches. Never going back.
From where I am, that looks like a perfect spot for each and every one of them.
