The last two Burger Kings I've been to in my life, they were dirty and had slow-ass service.
The last time I went there was about ten years ago, where I waited over 15 minutes just for some standard chicken nuggets!
So screw 'em. Seems like they're all run poorly, which makes it a corporate problem.
That overplayed commercial campaign only goes so far.
EDIT: Yes, I know "chicken nuggets" barely qualify as chicken. This was before I learned that.
I haven't been to one in years, and yeah dirty dining room area and service took forever. The next time I tried the drive through, and same took 20 minutes and I was 3rd in line.
About 10 years ago, they reduced their staff to just four people at busy times. A "manager" is just another regular employee that makes an extra buck an hour. They've been dying for years. The plug just hasn't been pulled quite yet.
You are right about the slow service. Several years ago I called in an order twice for a pick up and wound up waiting just as long as going through the drive through. Haven’t eaten fast food since, and even then it was rare.
