Guardians of the Galaxy 3 is the most anti trans movie I've ever seen! How did James Gunn, canceled by the woke mob at Disney, then rehired get away with this?
SPOILERS BELOW
Bad guy literally transmutates animals. Turning then against their biology.
Rocket Racoon struggles to embrace his true biology. Only later coming to terms with who he was actually created as.
Villian claims there is no God until he stepped in.
Wanted to create a world without bigots. World he created resembles meth laden streets of San Francisco.
The villian has tons of children in cages who are rescued.
Holy cow this is some subtle writing and the fact that Disney didn't see the message is crazy to me.
I'm not encouraging anyone to do anything. I just answered a question.
If you've read any of my past comments/posts you will know how strongly I feel about pedophilia/child grooming or trafficking/trans bull sh_t/ animal harm/lying media/election fraud/Wuhan virus. I despise and rail against all of it.
The "Guardians of the Galaxy" franchise of movies has been very well done and completely entertaining. I have watched all of them thus far. It also features Chris Pratt who I like a lot and who has been vocal about being a Christian and a conservative.
Let me give you an analogy:
Have you ever experienced this - your own offspring falls for someone and as you get to know them you learn they have good morals, are kind, decent and smart, just like your own child. And then, you meet their parents and are surprised to see that they are complete a_sholes, bigots and idiots?
Should you judge the child by the personalities of their parents? Or, should you judge the child by their own behavior and actions?
This movie franchise tells the story of redemption, kindness, heroism, humor, sadness and self-sacrifice for a higher cause. There's no porn, there's no homosexuality, nor any kind of sex being depicted at all. There's no curse words! There's no trans people. There's no anti-white agenda, there's no 'the future is female' and 'no one needs a man' or 'I'm oppressed' propaganda. There's no Lib agenda being forced down our throats at all!
How many TV shows or movies can you say that about?
This episode did 'go there' for animal medical experimentation and human trafficking, that was very well done and truly hits home with what we know happens in real life.
If we wanted to boycott all the companies that are behind this nefarious business that we discuss here on this board, there would be no place to go, nowhere to buy, limited things to do, unfortunately. I hate the parents of this movie, but I like the child.
I will pick my battles as I choose. You are free to do the same.
In your analogy is you being supportive of that child resulting in you acting as an enabler to the evil parent?
That's what you get out of this?
Yes. That your analogy is fundamentally flawed because it ignores a crucial part of the argument. Giving up vapid entertainment is the easiest battle to fight and yet you come up with your justification for why it's actually worth giving your money to Disney (again giving your money to a company you know is involved with at least some of the things you claim to be vehemently against) using a flawed analogy. How are we supposed to win when people can't even give up their bread and circuses. I saw the first guardians of the galaxy movie when a friend brought it over, it was nothing special, an action popcorn flick. You speak of it like it's a story for the ages like Lord of the Rings (not that even that would change the fact that it's funding Disney in exchange for fantasy escapism)
OK. Give it a rest, will you?
If this is the hill you want to die on, go ahead.
Why don't you go look up all the companies and industries Disney owns and tell me that you've boycotted all of them.
Did you watch any of the Star Wars movies? The Indiana Jones movies? Pirates of the Caribbean? Any Pixar movies? The History Channel? Any movie by Touchstone pictures? A&E? ABC family? Lifetime? FX? Marvel Studios? Lucas Films? The History Channel? What about ESPN or ESPN2? Did you ever go to Disneyland or Disneyworld?
I could go on. Unless you are actively boycotting all of these and many, many more, you are just virtue signaling here. Stop it.
Funny that you went ahead and watched the movie when your friend brought it over. Why did you do that? Why didn't you refuse? Of course, seeing it on the small screen you weren't impressed. That is the whole reason a person goes to the IMAX or 3D film at the theater to get the whole experience of these kind of blockbuster movies.
Sounds to me that you are battling windmills here. You and I will have to agree to disagree.
