I remember first hearing about all those weird parallels and "coincidences" between the JFK and Lincoln assassinations when I was a kid and thinking, "This can't be a coincidence. There's no way something that huge happens twice almost exactly the same, unless the second one was planned to replicate the first."

Turns out that was correct.
