True story: When I was in college Micheal Jackson's "Thriller" came out and while I was sitting in the lunch room in the corner was the big screen television with MTV showing vid all day long. Well, "Thriller" majically appeared ont he television and the wave of humanity that lunged at the television was something to see. It just seemed that every POC who was in the lunch room stood up, and began running to watch the vid. They did not let anything stand in their way. Chairs were upended and tables where moved so these folks had a straight line to the viewing area. It just reminded me of a ocean wave cresting onto a beach. Nothing can stop the wave, it just keeps moving inland. Same sensation with the wave of humanity wanting to see this particular video. That was 30 years ago and it still has made an impression in my mind. If a group of people want something bad enough, whether it's crack cocaine, a great Presidential candidate or a good music video, just stay out of the way and don't try to stop the action.
