We've got a long hard road to get this country back.

In this case Abbott should step in and issue a pardon as fast as possible.

In Texas the governor can’t directly issue a pardon. There’s a review board and if they recommend a pardon the governor can then approve or deny the recommendation so he can’t act until the review board does.
