The relationship of these developments isn't clear, the Indus Valley civilization was progressing right along with the Mesopotamian.
Second, while the earlier deduced Proto-Indo European belief system from which
Tengrism probably came featured fairly neutral deities, I don't believe any religion in the world went on very long without a moral gradient developing among the heavenlies. It seems inevitable that an Evil One arises and a dualistic conflict develops. When the two moral sides develop, so do their supporters, angels and demons.
Now OP's thesis doesn't appeal to me, but suppose he is right that there was some sudden change in the world. Why would we be invaded by demons? This seems to be veering into "Gods are aliens" territory. I can believe aliens would be interpreted that way, but the evidence is still pretty slim.

We don't know the exact timeline for anything "Genesis', yet we can assess that the fall of angels (demons) from heaven occurred both before Adam and after..... It's possible that angels falling from heaven occur even today. We simply don't know, but we can't deny this possibility either.
