Punishment has its place when it s warranted but if your kid is hiding something like a transgender kit from you then it’s fair to say you have already failed at having any meaningful relationship with your kid. They should be taught to recognize such filth and perversion for what it is or at least rely on the relationship you’ve built with them to trust you enough to seek your counsel about it.
I like the story of the father that when told by his teenage girl that she thought she was a boy. Upon hearing this he went all in and dressed as woman and pranced around public with her and even dropped her off at school walking her to class and playing it up with all her schoolmates. Embarrassed the shit out her enough to set her straight. Solved her rebellious fad real quick.
That was a prime example of a father clear in his mission to redefine the terms of being a badass, warrior parent. Hopefully, he got up in the administrators and teachers "business" while he was there.
Just because a kid has something undesirable in their room doesn't mean that you failed as a parent. It means that the child is sneaky and you need to remedy that situation as the parent.
This has to fall under some federal criminal statutes -- I wouldn't know which ones, though. Sending something like that to another state (nationwide) seems like prison time for someone.
For disobeying their parents. A good grounding and loss of privileges should be the norm.

Good point, the trusted adults need to go too.
100xs this
WTH!? Sometimes I expect to see Babylon be at the end of the story. And then I am shocked and have to shake it off that it’s not Babylon bee.

There is also the crime of the USPS letting children have PO Boxes in order to evade their parents.
The same USPS that helped Biden/Soros unseat a duly elected POTUS?
Boom.
Exactly.
