Can anyone explain to me the official reasoning for why documents would have to be released only after 23 years? Obviously I know the real reason, but there's gotta be a cover. Is it something to do with copyright? Like they can keep intellectual property private for a certain number of years?
Gives them a ton of time to modify, create data they want, kick the can further down the road, gaslight the public into believing it no longer matters etc.
