When Trump announced his first run for the Presidency, I knew almost nothing about him and was concerned he'd be another war-monger.
Boy, was I wrong.
His response to moderator Kaitlan Collins at the CNN Town Hall when she tried to get Trump to say whether he wanted Ukraine to Win the War was perfect and heart-felt:
He said he wanted people to stop dying. He said it again when she continued pressuring him to take a side in the war.
Years ago (during the Vietnam War for example), STOPPING THE WAR was the biggest and most emotional point for the Left. Even with the confusion being sown by the Cabal and the Commies, the purposeful mass-murder of war remained an obvious evil that anyone with an intact soul on the Left vehemently opposed.
I'd Love to Change the World by Ten Years After is an excellent example (of both anti-war sentiment and twisted socialist thinking, among other things), and a song that grabs me by the feelings to this day. Also: fabulous, lyrical guitar work.
Addendum: I did a search for the song's lyrics, and was disgusted to learn that every site I checked LEFT OFF ONE OF THE KEY LYRICS in the song (you'll hear these words CLEARLY in the video above, near the end, before the last refrain):

Either the words are left out completely or they're changed and at the very least, leave out "Senators". Examples:

As I said: The lyrics are perfectly CLEAR so this isn't a case of mumbled singing that can't be reliably deciphered.
It can only be blatant censorship.
The web is becoming less and less trustworthy; this is just one example.
In Vernor Vinge's SciFi epic A Fire Upon the Deep, a galaxy-wide internet-like communication grid is colloquially called "the Web of a million lies."
We're reached that point here, I think. Discernment and triple-checking are mandatory these days, and even then not always enough.
Not a surprise to anyone here; I just wanted to highlight this particular instance because it pissed me off.
Need to buy old dictionaries also. Definitions keep changing.
I bought one from the 70’s for this reason.
One of my big regrets is tossing out an old 50's Webster's dictionary my brother left in this old house due to some water damage. Many a definition I remember from that 8x10x8 inch tome is not what I clearly remember looking up. Did you know that 2 of the greatest "trigger" words in the English language shared a common meaning amongst the listings for "c___" & "ni____"? A nasty, distasteful person.
Gay used to mean happy.

Alvin Lee was one of the greatest guitarists. I saw him in concert in Richmond, VA and had front row tickets. I recall pushing back the audience that kept moving forward and looking up seeing Alvin Lee looking at me. It was if he was saying to me -- Its alright. There were women next to me getting pushed around.
I remember reading a few years back when it was announced he died..... I was shocked in hearing the news. All I could think of was his Woodstock song -- "I'm Going Home"
Someone decided to remove the line, "The little faggot with the earring and the makeup" from "Money For Nothing," by Dire Straits.
Which is dumb. Even as a kid, I got that they were being self-deprecating, not homophobic.
I assumed they were talking about an actual faggot, but they don't say anything negative about him. They make him seem like he's doing just great.
It clearly is senators. Not cool at all. i did check to see if CCR's Fortunate Son lyrics have been changed. All the one's I found had...I ain't no senator's son, son. So, that was a relief. Don't blame you for being pissed about this classic song, still great after all these years! Yet, here we are and everything is still so messed up. Staying cozy because I know that is about to change.
