This calmly infuriates me.

After reading the Flat earth comments, I'd like to say something. The stars are the answer. During winter solstice look at the stars from the equator. Do the same, from the same location during summer solstice. If the constellations are completely different, you are on the opposite side of the sun looking at entirely different stars on a ball shaped planet that orbits the sun. If the stars are the same, every single thing we were tought is incorrect...... very simple, yet you will never find someone who can give us those two photos 6 months apart. Why?
Because compared to the distance between here and the Big Dipper, the distance between Earth's positions in January and July are about as different in scale as a human hair and Madison Square Garden.
It is so big is always the answer.
Try searching this „winter solstice constellations summer“. Brings up diagrams that you can then test against.
