Russia, Ukraine to receive African mission on potential peace plan, Pretoria says

South African President Cyril Ramaphosa said on Tuesday that Russian President Vladimir Putin and Ukraine's Volodymyr Zelenskiy had agreed to meet a group of African leaders to discuss a potential peace plan for the conflict.

My dad was military, and we lived in Germany for about 8 years in the 60s/70s. There was still a lot of anti Nato sentiment back then. There was quite a bit of violence around me. And then the kind of brutal enforcement of NATO troops. It was tough all the way around. Left an impression on me. How clever of Trump to take out NATO by simply defunding them. It's so simply brilliant.
