yes, yes, yes! What's been going on in African countries is terrific! in terms of them breaking free!
There's an important woman economist from Zambia, Dambisa Moyo, whose advice for Third World countries is to free themselves from debt commitments and develop on the basis of internal means and resources ("Dead Aid: Why Aid Is Not Working and How There Is a Better Way for Africa"). Her thesis was so unpopular among the ruling elite in Zambia, she had to live in other countries.
oh really. That is interesting. I feel like we are all being freed, one chain at a time.
