H&K has been reluctant to sell their products to civilians. They have a history of siding with globalists and are definitely not a company to be trusted. Their firearms are good, but not the best. They just have some quality products with a very trendy name tag. The high price tag makes the more gullible believe that they are making a superior product when they are simply make a good product, but scarcity and high prices make folks think that they are making something better. The reality is that there are better firearms out there that are more reliable, more corrosion resistant, more ergonomic, less expensive, more modular, easier to work on and more available. The reputation they have is still riding off the 9 series of roller locked firearms from the 60's/70's. The UMP was a hit, but the civilian version is an abomination. The G36 rifles have all been unceremoniously dumped from the German military. The 416? An AR-15 that is supposedly made better? Seriously?
