I don’t think that what this article points out is “the most damning” thing at all. If anything “new rules won’t work if the people hired don’t care” isn’t the thing that sticks out to me the most, and is completely disingenuous: EVERYBODY KNOWS that if you have shit people you’re going to get shit enforcement of the rules.
The most damning thing is that the FBI along with everyone else (can someone name an Intel or DOJ official that wasn’t a part of this scheme? lol) collaborated to spy on a sitting president using information they knew was fake and then used that illegal information to persecute for years with leaks, fake news stories, and everything else. That the media is complicit and wholly supportive of these efforts with deep state government officials is a huge problem.
The entire Durham report brings the receipts with the FBI’s own notes and emails and testimonials and yet the liberals can’t wrap their heads around it... or they’re fine with the FBI/CIA/Obama/Clinton breaking the laws as long as it’s to get Drumpf.
Further, it is our federal workforce and the "feeder" schools, so-called elite universities, colleges and academies who turn them out every year.
Go back to the prep and high schools (many of them within shouting distance of The Swamp.)
These future G-men, Capital Hill suck-up staffers and purveyors of fake news are part of well-connected families and their networks. Look up Susan Rice's bio and you'll find deep familial connections:
Susan Elizabeth Rice was born in Washington, D.C., on November 17, 1964, to parents Lois Dickson Fitt and Emmett J. Rice. Rice's family is well known among the Washington elite; father is a Cornell University economics professor and former governor of the Federal Reserve System, while her mother is an education policy researcher and guest scholar at the Brookings Institution. Growing up, Rice's family often spoke of politics and foreign policy at the dinner table....
Means the people "educating" our "betters" are doing a Sh*t ass job of teaching them the basic civics of the US republic.
Many of those who "excel" at climbing up the government food chain have no moral compass, they only "excel" at "getting ahead," most times in the DC area, it's at all costs.

By design, according to the Wikileaks emails.
