Speaking to CBS News on Tuesday, Obama warned that the mainstream media has lost its control over the narrative and said the only solution is for the U.S. government to step in and take drastic action. âThe thing that Iâm most worried about is the degree to which we now have a divided conversation, in part because we have a divided media, right?â Obama told Nate Burleson. âIâm much older than you⌠when I was coming up, you had three TV stations and people were getting a similar sense of what is true and what isnât, what was real and what was not.â âToday, what Iâm most concerned about is because of the splintering of the media, we almost occupy different realities,â Obama said, adding âIf something happens, in the past, everybody could say, all right, we may disagree on how to solve it, but at least we all agree that, yeah, thatâs an issue.â âNow people will say, well, that didnât happen, or I donât believe that,â he complained, asserting that âone of, I think, the goals of the Obama Foundation, and one of the goals of my post-presidency, is how do we return to that common conversation? How can we have a common set of facts?â Obama went on to talk about gun control as an example of one issue he wants to see Americans accept a âcommon set of factsâ on. âWe may disagree on gun violence in terms of what the best prescriptions are, but we canât deny the data that says the United States has levels of gun violence that are 5, 10, 15 times more than other countries,â he stated, adding âSo if we say it is just a mental health problem, well, itâs not like there arenât people with mental health problems in those other countries. Whatâs the difference? This is probably the difference. Now, we can have a debate. But at least weâve agreed on some facts.â

Aha. I'm afraid I skipped this comment. (I tend to see red when I see fake newspunch BS.)
If you review the Newspunch / Sean Adl-Tabatabai / TPV content over time, you can see that they appear to use a consistent formula.
Complete rubbish fake news headline (pure fiction)
First 2 or 3 paragraphs expanding on the fiction, with further fabricated content.
Follow up with actual information that appears intended to sway the reader into accepting the first headlines, as if 2 = 5, or A = Z.
Once can easily find the content of Obama's actual interview, if one indeed wants to follow up on the Newspunch fabrication (to track down to what extent it is rubbish, or take the actual real content in the body of the fake news as a starting point for digging actual content.
I think that calling the headline (and actually, its the first two paragraphs as well) "very clickbaity" is like calling the deep state "sort of not good people".
In my opinion, its not "clickbait". NP's mob consistently post pure 100% fiction that sucks in patriots and both misleads and builds a foundation for discrediting all the real truth. It's not just sensationalism. It's lies.
Consider the unaware pede who takes that news headline or first two paragraphs as real, and tells their family or friends, to point just how bad Obama (or Clinton, or Hollywood, or Soros, or whoever) really are, only for them to find out its completely bogus. Won't this discredit the pede and the actual truth on those people's eyes.
In my view, there is NO justification for posting NP articles here, even if there is real content buried in the articles, because a) the same content in the articles can be found via bone fide sources (i.e. actually getting the data of the interview) b) it moves in the direction of validating NP and c) NP operation does immeasurable damage to the truth movement by its very existence.
Proof of the pudding is found in the fact that 80%+ of the pedes who respond to the post chime in without even vetting it, and simply react of the headline itself as if it were true.
If the interview by Obama is real pill material, the post the actual red pills instead of the toxic poisonous contaminated pill that is NP.
