Yeah I don't get that one either.

I will say some presidents try to learn to salute and understand it is an act of respect. Some see it as a hassle to keep the press from commenting on them not saluting. Biden seems to be more of the 2nd option - a hassle - and he is bad at it as well. I've always hated the salutes where people start the salute, and instead of finishing properly they kind of karate chop the air from their head level. Shows no respect.

Trump learned. His hand was even straight and tight.
