I think it's important to remember the incredible value that a positive DEI score has on the ability to obtain financing from globalist sources such as Blackrock. The executives in charge may be sawing through the neck of the goose that lays the golden eggs, but they themselves are being lavishly rewarded.
C-level people have zero loyalty to anything but their contract; they could not care less about the employees under them, the brand, the customers, anything else.
