You're policing language like a fucking leftist. I'll call the failed republican party whatever I like, because that's all they have done in my lifetime, fail.
Don't tell me who or what to respect. You make a lot of assumptions as to what regard I hold our founding fathers in. I do not need to be educated by the likes of you.
I spent years of my life serving this country based on the lies of the republican party moreso than the democrats. Years that I will never get back. I was betrayed by the people that I thought were patriots, your "republicans". The only reason I have voted for the party in recent years is because of Donald Trump, and guess what? They betrayed him as well.
So I'm not sulking away from anything. I would love to hear you say such a thing to my face as a matter of fact.
We the people didn't let the party fall. Our elections are being stolen from us routinely and have been for some time. We aren't voting our way out of this.
The republican party you hold in such high regard has been dead for decades. They have a track record of failure and betrayal, and no amount of condescending rhetoric from you is going to change the way I refer to the party of the "people".
Again, I understand that you are deeply traumatized. People calling themselves R's have hurt you. You aren't the only one who was tricked.

You want to demonize the whole R party, but that is no replacement for having discernment, which is what is needed at this time.

Its not a sober view. Like I said, you would rather demonize the whole party than use discernment. Its the same as someone who is no longer capable of trusting strangers. of course, you shouldn't trust all strangers. you should use discernment.
I assume you support Trump and MAGA, since that's part of what this board is for.
and I can also safely assume that the founding fathers wanted a republic, not the KKK.
just because our generation let that party slip, doesn't mean the concept of it doesn't deserve respect. ultimately its the people who have allowed this corruption to exist, so there's no use insulting the wounds we have allowed to fester. the republican party has always been the home of the people, and the democratic party has always been the foreign object. remove the latter, and clean the former, just like any wound.
if you're not capable of using discernment at all, then I guess just carry on. you're right, most are still corrupt, and if you can't tell rinos from republicans, there's better things you could be doing with your time than supporting any of them.
