Magnesium. I take 300mg magnesium citrate each day. If I plan to exert myself to a sweat, I take another beforehand.
Also make sure that your salt/potassium balance is correct. It can't be measured accurately so you just have to monitor what you eat. Plenty of leafy greens, avocado and maybe brazil nuts. See various YT videos.
BTW for me a migraine attack produces the typical flashing zig-zag arc in both eyes but only a slight headache. I haven't had one since starting the daily magnesium three years ago.
I haven't had a flashing zig zag arc in awhile, I just will get pulsating headaches.
The salt/potassium balance is something I've lately not been keeping up with. Usually when I can find it, I get Lo-Salt (look at ingredients and make sure theres no Sodium Hexacyanoferrate whatever tf that is)
What is the best medicine for migraines as I've found Aspirin doesn't always do it for me
I supplement with Magnesium Glycinate, Magnesium Citrate, and Magnesium Threonate. I still get pulsating headaches at times.
