Sorry to hear about your husband.
Thanks hun, I appreciate that. It's not easy being us. One day you're living your life together, the next you're watching your best friend turn into something totally foreign. But the love never dies.
My husband has it too. Vascular dementia. He's lost a lot of words, ability to read some things, has no short term memory either. It's awful. He used to be really handy around the house. Now he can do simple tasks but nothing more.
Same. Mine was a master mechanic with a Photographic memory...built vehicles from absolute bare dirt. Used to be the heart of every convo. He's the one that was redpilling everyone else 20 yrs ago. Now he can't turn a wrench at all. Can't drive unsupervised bc he gets lost in our driveway. Barely speaks at all, sleeps 18hrs a day, and has watched the same episode of Roadkill 15 times this week and doesn't know it.
