As some of you know we are going through an Electricity Problem..... I have now been without power for 32 hrs and to top it off the water is now unsafe.... People are now getting Cholera... 🤬🤬🤬Why?.... BECAUSE THE FUCKING 'GOVERNMENT STEALS ALL THE MONEY and leave NOTHING to maintain infrastructures.. I am so fucking over this.... I Hope Something happens soon as we cannot carry on like this... I can go on and on and on..🤬🤬🤬🤬... Did I mention we are going into winter now so it WILL get worse... If that's even possible..... Thank you for listening.... 🙏🏻🙏🏻

We did 13 days without electricity. Absolutely sucks. Temp went down to 5f. A strange ice storm created about 1 1/2 inches of ice on everything. The weight of the ice took down power lines. Couldn’t go anywhere because there was 1-1/2 inches of ice on the road. We filled the bathtub and a bunch of containers beforehand because we are on wellwater and things can freeze. Luckily we have a fireplace and a gas starter and LOTS of wood because every tree on the property lost limbs off the north (rain facing) side. I have a chainsaw and keep gasoline for it. Neighbors Chipped ice from the pool and got water for their animals. Our main problem was that here in Texas this never happens and nobody is prepared for it.
The difference is that we knew help was on the way to get the electricity back on. Your situation is near hopeless with the “help” being the ones causing the issue. Thank God for the white hats. NCSWIC (I wish something would speed it up though)
I also wish you could easily take a vacation for a couple of weeks to a sunny destination.
