My question is this… If you know there’s 100 questions that have been murdered with machetes, why would you live in that area. Why would 1000 people that are Christians live in that area much less 100,000.? None of it makes any sense. If you knew people were running around the streets, killing Christians with machetes, and you’re a Christian… Does that make you kind of stupid. I mean, wouldn’t you try to at least protect yourself and move away. But I hear stories like this, I questioned the story altogether 100%.
I’m thinking they are stuck. I mean I’m sure they are low income, as most of that country is. I don’t think they can just jump into the suv and head to the airport, and fly to Tennessee. They are probably detained if they even reached the airport.
Through the church I’ve heard of missionaries, actually our pastor included, and getting into those countries is dangerous enough as an American. You are somewhat protected because your a foreigner…but locals are fair game. They will kill those locals in front of foreign Christians, and then tell you to go home or your next. The names of some of these missionaries are protected so they aren’t hunted here in the states as well. Otherwise they are threaten before even leaving, like America, to begin with.
But I’m for certain Christians are killed outright in these countries..now the 100k, I don’t know about those numbers. Maybe over a long period of time? Who knows. If it was all recently I would think that would be world news. But honestly, the way the media is nowadays…pfft.
I wish we could get these Christians out of that place. But even the apostles of Jesus themselves, many were killed in the same manner. We are not to fear death spreading and worshipping Christ. But everyone fears death of course. But I understand our Lords meaning.
