Yes this is an insidious "promotion". The demand for such "products" = "promotional" items, does not in any business marketing model, justify the front of store in-our-faces displays!
Loss leaders?? HA! no one is going into the store for other items BECAUSE of this "gay" promotion. There is no business reason for it in any stretch of the imagination. I guess they will have to have a Bonfire of Vanity to dispose of all the unsold items.
No one even buys the trash. I used to go to a store that sold returns/products that don't sell... SO MUCH of it was this Target filth. And even the resell store couldn't give the trash away.
