Not sure if this is worth stickying but there is at least a small element of truth here.
I have heard reports from military family members and people I trust that Mexican immigrants, specifically the ones involved in large cartels/gangs have been inserted en masse into the enlisted ranks.
Obviously, the rest of this post is highly dubious. But I can confirm at least that one element.
