I also agree with Don Jr. it's the consultants who live by the work cycles...and if no republican candidate, what will Karl Rove and his strategies group do? They need a candidate, but one that is a money maker. They don't see that in Tim Scott of course, but they do see it in DeSantis as far as Ron can take it, they all make money. Without Ron, there are no republican consulting opportunities. They would have no work, in the presidential cycle. So they convinced Ron to do it...for whatever reason, they now have work they charge for, via Ron's contributors.
