Nixon didn't. "Deep Throat" was Mark phelps, deputy director of the FBI. He supposedly ran the whole Watergate affair by dropping information by meeting with Washington Post journalists in the basement of a parkade. Meanwhile, Andrew mccabe, deputy director of the fbi, ran the Russia hoax for Hillary clinton. Anybody see a pattern?
