As a 30 year old that only has a vague understanding of JFK and a the Era, I thoroughly enjoyed this.
Why can't more leaders in our government just sit down and explain decisions in retrospect or give the public insight without being crazy or becoming marketeers for their agendas
This is probably the most honest and insightful interview of the of a president in modern history. Nothing is rehearsed. Kennedy gives detailed and in-depth answers. Admits responsibility and culpability in the Bay of Pigs. Offers a precise analysis of the press and his advisors, candidly talking about how the system works.
I believe The Office is a reflection of the man and that's why I draw parallels to POTUS 45.. unfortunately, Trump doesn't have the luxury of dealing with a somewhat honest media.
Why can't we have this again today?
Is this like what 60 minutes is supposed to be?
