I've almost got my husband off of DeepStatist, but he's still prone to lapsing back into the illusion of choice. "What if Trump is indicted and can't run? Who are you gonna vote for between DeSantis and Biden?" I said, "If Trump can't run, it won't matter who I support or 'vote' for because they'll put in whoever they put in. And that's what I mean about the illusion of choice; we won't have one. The military is the only way."
