Welcome to General Chat - GAW Community Area
This General Chat area started off as a place for people to talk about things that are off topic, however it has quickly evolved into a community and has become an integral part of the GAW experience for many of us.
Based on its evolving needs and plenty of user feedback, we are trying to bring some order and institute some rules. Please make sure you read these rules and participate in the spirit of this community.
Rules for General Chat
-
Be respectful to each other. This is of utmost importance, and comments may be removed if deemed not respectful.
-
Avoid long drawn out arguments. This should be a place to relax, not to waste your time needlessly.
-
Personal anecdotes, puzzles, cute pics/clips - everything welcome
-
Please do not spam at the top level. If you have a lot to post each day, try and post them all together in one top level comment
-
Try keep things light. If you are bringing in deep stuff, try not to go overboard.
-
Things that are clearly on-topic for this board should be posted as a separate post and not here (except if you are new and still getting the feel of this place)
-
If you find people violating these rules, deport them rather than start a argument here.
-
Feel free to give feedback as these rules are expected to keep evoloving
In short, imagine this thread to be a local community hall where we all gather and chat daily. Please be respectful to others in the same way
Ok, so I live 1o miles from a nuclear plant. And I have a ticky cat. We cooked out fish out of the river a few days ago. But.... it's been going on 2 yrs. My Jak-jak won't Eat the fish! Which in turn neither will I. It is fried in oil of course. I do what I need to for her. Nope! Wo t touch it! But... neither will her brother next door! They are Cats! Idk? Am I overthrowing, like an Erin brovovick thing? Lol?
I trust animals. They are more in tune with their environment and surroundings. I had a calico (if you don't know they are their attitudes are in overdrive compared to the other breads.) I've had cats most of my life and the calico didn't like certain people and might attack. Once my x-sister in law walked in and the cat laid down in her path and she knew not to try to pass her. I always considered her an excellent judge of character! Long story short if the cat doesn't trust it neither would I. Unless they never ate fish to begin with. I rescued a kitten and mama a few years ago and they didn't turn down the tuna. The kitten would reach up and pull down my hand to keep his mom from it.
My cat never eats fish. I had two other cats and they wouldn't either.
Heck no, if the cat suspects bad fish, then definitely do not eat it. Cats are smart little creatures.
If you live along the same river as me I would not eat a fish from it.
Altamha?
