You're right, to a point.

The best thing that could happen over this, is the Left sues over it and the matter goes to the SCOTUS where it will be revealed, that just like the nonexistent 'right' to abortion, it will be decided that birthright citizenship is nowhere in the Constitution.

It simply does not exist.
