Now personally, I can’t stand ethanol fuel. It’s devastating to many vehicles. And as you raise the %, like they did this time last year, it gets even worse for fuel related problems in every motor. I have fixed a crap ton of engines because of ethanol. And advise everyone to stay away from it, I don’t care what you drive. If you have no choice in the matter, get a fuel additive that combats ethanol fuel. Gumout (Tune Up) is a good recommendation for this. It’s not expensive or anything, usually around $7-8. Seafoam is good stuff but not for this application. You won’t need it for every fill up. If your like many people and fill up once a week, do a fuel additive once a month or so. Should help greatly.
I recall seeing a YT video recently that showed how to remove the ethanol from gasoline so that you can safely use it in chain saws, lawn mowers, snow blowers, etc.
For small engines ethanol is death to those injectors and fuel lines. If you have no choice use what I mentioned earlier every so often, same as vehicles but also add some StaBil 360 Marine ethanol treatment. It’s the clear/grey bottle. They have the red bottle if nothing else is available. But the marine one works more efficient from my experience. Just add to your gallon cans as instructed on the bottle, oz/gallon. Or just add an ounce or less straight to your tank for small engines use.
