Welcome to General Chat - GAW Community Area
This General Chat area started off as a place for people to talk about things that are off topic, however it has quickly evolved into a community and has become an integral part of the GAW experience for many of us.
Based on its evolving needs and plenty of user feedback, we are trying to bring some order and institute some rules. Please make sure you read these rules and participate in the spirit of this community.
Rules for General Chat
-
Be respectful to each other. This is of utmost importance, and comments may be removed if deemed not respectful.
-
Avoid long drawn out arguments. This should be a place to relax, not to waste your time needlessly.
-
Personal anecdotes, puzzles, cute pics/clips - everything welcome
-
Please do not spam at the top level. If you have a lot to post each day, try and post them all together in one top level comment
-
Try keep things light. If you are bringing in deep stuff, try not to go overboard.
-
Things that are clearly on-topic for this board should be posted as a separate post and not here (except if you are new and still getting the feel of this place)
-
If you find people violating these rules, deport them rather than start a argument here.
-
Feel free to give feedback as these rules are expected to keep evoloving
In short, imagine this thread to be a local community hall where we all gather and chat daily. Please be respectful to others in the same way
FYI
We are over a hundred hours since the debt deal was first announced and Trump STILL haven't commented on the deal. In fact, there are (Unconfirmed) rumors that Trump recently praised McCarthy for his hard work.
If Trump objected to any part of this, we would've heard about it by now. Instead, we have him blasting DeSantis while being in presidential campaign mode. In addition, Lauren Boebert's not on the voting reps list, despite very vocal opposition to the deal.
Devil's advocate: Maybe the bill is not as bad as the influencers, personalities, and their followers over at Truth Social and elsewhere make it out to be, if Trump is not blasting it at all.
Speaking of which, I have noticed that said influencers and personalities are very conspicuously avoiding the elephant in the room, which is Trump's silence on the debt deal. Blasting McCarthy and RINOs is easy, but acknowledging the fact that Trump has oddly refrained from making a single comment in opposition to the bill is somehow beyond their abilities.
President Trump cares about the everyday lives of everyday Americans. The people you call normies. He does not see us in that way, politically, yes, but most of Trump voters would not qualify as awakened to many that use the board here. While some see defaulting on the budget as a precipice point, President Trump knows that the Federal budget also supports millions who are dependent on their social security checks, on their medicare and medicaid. Not all who receive federal money are deadbeats. Consider the man I care for. I suppose he could have rotted in some institution, he can do nothing for himself. Instead, federal funds sent to the state, allow him care, rent money (which I receive) , he has a little bedroom in a private home that gives him full care, he goes out with us to farmers markets, sometimes movies, etc. I know Trump is strong, but that does not make him unaware of the weak and unspoken for. He would never support putting millions of Americans at risk for discomfort or worse. It does not make one a liberal to understand that there is a number of americans with severe disabilities who depend on assistance. Or would some here advise euthanizing them as useless eaters? I don't think Trump would. While he may have a personal discomfort with the visuals of disabled persons,, (many do, it is not pretty, Trump loves all things beautiful and he has been sheltered from the ugly all his life.) He would not support defaulting and throwing the country into hardship. Of course there is corruption in the system, of course there are scammers, but, there are also people who do not do that and who work in public service out of Christian duty.
Its good news that your friend has someone like you to take care of him.
Pumping money is necessary before the Fed can collapse.
In return to this bill, all indications show that the Cabal puppets handed over the Biden scalp. Lets wait and see.
The timeline of 2 years in this bill fits perfectly with Q timeline

Great observation. Waiting and seeing might be the best course of action, in light of all of this data and observations.
I just wish the non-stop dooming, the black-pilling, and the whining over the deal would stop polluting my social media feeds. I swear that we have just as many panicky sheep on our side as the enemy's side, and they all are a bit resistant to my appeals to logic. They all like to parrot and bleat out what other "doomy" people are saying for attention.
Amen. Sometimes the doomers are worse than the sleeping sheep.
We cant force them to see the light. You can throw little crumbs but in the end ignore them and let them come at their own time.
