I am most concerned with sugar cravings as it relates to parasites, candida and insulin resistance/diabetes. I have a low A1C and keep track of my blood sugar but I have been diabetic. Personally I use stevia and make sure my body is alkaline by adding ACV to my daily water. I use intermittent fasting with a 6 to 8 hour eating window with 16-18 hours of allowing my body to heal and regenerate by drinking only water...which works well for me...but may not for others. I have made muffins with coconut sugar and cheesecake with stevia so there are alternative sweeteners that can be used. So...although I have never been a "sugaraholic" I have tried to substitute healthy sweeteners. I also use a zapper at night to deal with parasites. "An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure."
Also MANY years ago I quit drinking "pop" or soda...that was quite beneficial...and I rarely drink anything alcoholic.
Thank you for posting that link, tweety. What do you mean by low A1C? I'm glad you are happy with stevia. Unfortunately for many people, it's from a plant related to ragweed and that is such a common allergen, stevia causes a lot of problems for a large percentage of the population. It's turning up in everything, too! But for those who can use it, it's great. What do you mean by zapper for parasites? Lol. I have no idea to what you are referring. Thanks for posting!
"Glycated hemoglobin test (A1C)
This test does not require fasting, but does require blood to be taken. The test measures average blood sugar levels over the past three month period. If the test measures A1C levels of 6.5% or higher during two different tests will indicate diabetes. If the A1C level is between 5.7-6.4% prediabetes is indicated."
