Speaking of Texas where is the Paxton impeachment process at? I thought the next step was for the TX Senate to investigate and vote on it. Paxton is purported in limbo until he can be reinstated.

That's not good at all. At this point, Paxton is muted. Gov. Abbot has to appoint an AG until the Senate votes on this. If Abbot was smart, he'd appoint someone that takes direct guidance from Paxton. The interim AG then should investigate the sham impeachment and file charges against the leaders of this coup.
