Moved back to USA in Sept. of 2020, wife and I were on separate Islands when lockdown occured. We came back to USA to reunite, and now have Children in the family there to provide for, so in USA in the meantime. We have a house there and I had to resume work in USA because I don't own in USA anymore and we are paying 2K a month in a Middle Class area. I no longer drive and my wife doesn't know how so at least our Transportation is cheap. Wife rides bus for free while I pay 33 bucks for discount monthly pass. We live a few miles from DT
Im planning on trying to find a wife in PH. Any thoughts?
Go there and look in person, online is rife with scammers. provincial women tend not to smoke, drink, or use drugs. City girls are more likely to. A Filipina comes with strong family ties, you will need to help her family, but learn how to say no. People think they know how to run a business there, most don't. Don't buy or build a house there, you can rent cheap and move away if problems develop. Non-confrontational interactions are how things work there. The culture is more about courtship than dating, don't ruin a reputation. Make sure she isn't already married, there's no divorce there. If hubby is connected you will get arressted for adultery.
Filipinas are good wives, but tied strongly to their families, the retirement plan is for children to help their parents in old age, they have a minimal SS system, and many don't pay into it. My friend there gets 60 bucks a month SS.
Thank you!
