This can't be a coincidence but from what people are chattering many of them have heard sonic booms many time in their lives and this didn't sound like one. On Reddit (yeah, I know...) somebody said their vacuum cleaner started by itself and somebody else said their screen door opened when the boom happened.

Very strange. Even if it really was a sonic boom it's the weirdest sonic boom ever heard by most.
