Space weather nerd chiming in -- there is literally nothing new here. All of this has been known for years.

Definitely seems like they are setting the stage for a comms blackout which will be blamed on solar storms.

Which is really weird, actually, because, in terms of the narrative payload, it's much better for them if they blame it on a hack perpetrated by the Deep States enemy du jour, either China or Russia.
